What is ADHD?
What is it like to Have ADHD?
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Although the name suggests that people with this disorder behave hyperactivity, not all diagnosed ADHDers experience hyperactivity. This disorder is rather an attention deficit with possible symptoms of hyperactivity.
3 Types of ADHD
There are three accepted types of ADHD: Inattentive, Hyperactive and Combination (both Inattentive and Hyperactive). Even these types prove to be misleading as inattention itself is the disorder. Rather inattentive should be labelled hypoactive, bringing further clarity to the nature of this disorder.
